The Revolutionary Abdominolipoplasty
A superior Tummy Tuck & Liposuction Under Local Anesthesia The traditional abdominolipoplasty procedures (full tummy tuck, mini-tummy tuck and dermolipectomy) are associated with a high complication rate due to the extensive severing brought about to the bottom aspect of the flap.
The upper and lower abodominal regions (shown gray) are liposuctioned first. The loosened skin as a result of liposuction- without any need for cutting the underneath the skin such as subcutaneous and fibrotic tissue, nerves and blood vessles- is easily pulled down to tighten skin. Excess skin is removed and upper and lower end of the remaining skin are sutured back together.
The technique eliminates puckers of skin on either end of the scar (dog ears) because liposuction allows the creation of similar thickness of fat in the upper and lower borders of the flap. Because ear dogs are effectively avoided, a shorter and more aesthetic looking scar is resulted when compared with the scar from the traditional tummy tuck. Less Complications: Due to vasoconstriction- the extensive temporary narrowing of blood vessels as a result of tumescent anesthesia, the procedure causes only minimal bleeding. Whereas, the traditional tummy tuck can be associated with profuse bleeding to the degree that requires blood transfusions. Further, the risk of skin necrosis is significantly less because the blood supply remains intact. In addition, there are major complications, which are inherit to general anesthesia and IV heavy sedation. Such complications- at times being lethal, are avoided when local anesthesia is utilized. Right after completion of the procedure, patient is able to stand up, dress himself or herself, and ambulate. This recovery is virtually unheard of with a standard tummy tuck under general anesthesia or heavy sedation. Due to its long lasting effects, tumescent anesthesia offers a minimum of 12 hours pain control following the surgery. At Lipo Body Enhancement Center, the cost for the revolutionary abdominolipoplasty is $7,500. There is no additional cost of any sort involved.
