The Revolutionary Abdominolipoplasty
A superior Tummy Tuck & Liposuction Under Local Anesthesia

The traditional abdominolipoplasty procedures (full tummy tuck, mini-tummy tuck and dermolipectomy) are associated with a high complication rate due to the extensive severing brought about to the bottom aspect of the flap.
This significantly compromizes the blood supply to the flap. as a result. Normally, a general anesthesia or heavy twilight sedation is required to carry out the procedure because of the extensive tissue dissection and manipulation.

At Lipo Body Enhancement Center, a new and revolutionary modification of the procedure performed, which is quite safe and provides by far superior results. The procedure can be safely and effectively performed in office under local tumescent anesthesia. The technique combines two distinct procedures: a) liposuction of the abdomen, and b) the tummy tuck.
By avoiding the use of general anesthesia or heavy IV sedation- and complications associated with this type of anesthesia, this new revolutionary procedure offers an improved postoperative recovery.

The amount of fat removed through the new approach is significantly greater than what could be removed by traditional tummy tuck. This results in an improvement in the contour by thinning out the fat layer.

The upper and lower abodominal regions (shown gray) are liposuctioned first. The loosened skin as a result of liposuction- without any need for cutting the underneath the skin such as subcutaneous and fibrotic tissue, nerves and blood vessles- is easily pulled down to tighten skin. Excess skin is removed and upper and lower end of the remaining skin are sutured back together.

The new revolutionary procedure is superior to the traditional tummy tuck in many respects:

Superior Results: Patient is alert and awake during the procedure. Half way through the procedure- following liposuction and before the tummy tuck, the patient is inspected in a standing position to draw the shape and size of the skin to be removed. This step eliminates guessing and improves the odds to achieve a body shape, contour line and a symmetrical skin incision. When the procedure is performed under general anesthesia or heavy sedation, the patient cannot assume a standing position, and that’s why surgeon has to guess the shape and size of the skin removal while patient is lying down.

The technique eliminates puckers of skin on either end of the scar (dog ears) because liposuction allows the creation of similar thickness of fat in the upper and lower borders of the flap.

Because ear dogs are effectively avoided, a shorter and more aesthetic looking scar is resulted when compared with the scar from the traditional tummy tuck.

During this revolutionary procedure, liposuction is performed and great amount of fat is removed from throughout abdomen. This provides a superior contouring when compared with traditional tummy tuck.

Less Complications: Due to vasoconstriction- the extensive temporary narrowing of blood vessels as a result of tumescent anesthesia, the procedure causes only minimal bleeding. Whereas, the traditional tummy tuck can be associated with profuse bleeding to the degree that requires blood transfusions. Further, the risk of skin necrosis is significantly less because the blood supply remains intact.

In addition, there are major complications, which are inherit to general anesthesia and IV heavy sedation. Such complications- at times being lethal, are avoided when local anesthesia is utilized.

Quicker Recovery: For the most part, the recovery period is similar to that of ordinary liposuction. The new revolutionary approach avoids complications and the prolonged recovery time associated with the traditional tummy tuck.

Right after completion of the procedure, patient is able to stand up, dress himself or herself, and ambulate. This recovery is virtually unheard of with a standard tummy tuck under general anesthesia or heavy sedation. Due to its long lasting effects, tumescent anesthesia offers a minimum of 12 hours pain control following the surgery.

At Lipo Body Enhancement Center, the cost for the revolutionary abdominolipoplasty is $7,500. There is no additional cost of any sort involved.
